EVERTON IN TALKS FOR JAMES RODRIGUEZ

Everton are in talks with Real Madrid for the possible transfer of Colombian attacking midfielder James Rodriguez. If the transfer goes through, It will be the third time the Rodriguez will be signed by Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti.


Madrid have been looking to offload some players in order to raise some funds and James Rodriguez is one the players on the transfer list, The Colombian who joined Real Madrid from Monaco has had a tough time since moving to the Bernabeu in 2014 especially after Zinedine Zidane took over from Ancelotti in his first stint as Madrid boss.

Ancelotti wants to bring the player to Everton after signing him as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich (on loan) manager. The player is believed to be keen on the move. He has been offered a three-year deal at Everton.

Talks are going on well between the two clubs and a deal could soon be agreed according numerous news outlets in England.

In other news, Everton are also interested in signing Watford midfielder, Abdoulaye Doucoure.
