AC Milan and Brescia have reached an agreement over an initial one-year loan with an option to buy for a total fee rising to 30m Euros (£26.8m) for highly rated Italian youngster, Sandro Tonali.
The midfielder was scouted by top European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. He was also linked with Juventus but nothing materialized.
Inter Milan were favorites to sign the young midfielder from Brescia but they decided to pull out at the end in order to direct their focus on signing Arturo Vidal from Barcelona. Conte is believed to be very keen on bringing Vidal back to Italy.
AC Milan fans will no doubt be glad about signing Tonali. The player will officially complete the transfer in the coming days.
In other Milan news, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a new one-year deal with AC Milan.
