Tottenham Hotspurs have completed the signings of Real Madrid pair Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon. Gareth Bale returns to Tottenham on loan whilst Reguilon's deal is permanent one.
Having signed Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hǿjbjerg from Wolves and Southampton respectively, Jose Mourinho was very keen on adding to his squad especially after the opening day defeat to Everton in the English Premier League. He will definitely be pleased with the signings of Bale and Reguilon as he seeks to return Tottenham back to UEFA Champions League.
Reguilon, who was rumored to be interested in a move Manchester United was convinced to join the North London based club after a conversation with Jose Mourinho. The transfer fee is said to be around €30m and includes a buy-back clause of about €45-50m.
